Materials:
-
Activated carbon is produced from coal, pinewood or coconut shells. The carbon is “activated” through chemical or thermal treatment. The activated carbon comes in a powder form or pellets in (water-soluble) bags, big bags or in filter elements.
Specifications:
-
Filter rating: Depending on a large number of factors and the retention time of the contaminated media in the carbon, virtually 100% of contaminants can be trapped.
Examples of Application:
-
Traps odour molecules
-
Protection of production units against unwanted gases
